PERMISSION CONFIRMATION CHECKLIST

 

     Constant Contact’s permission policy requires that you read and accept all items on our Permission Confirmation Checklist before adding a contact email address via the Contact Capture Tool. If your contact does not meet each item on the checklist below, you must *not* add the contact to your account!

 

1. My contact addition is consent based - All contacts I add have given me or my business their prior consent to receive email communications.

 

2. My contact is NOT from a third party list - My contact information has not been purchased, rented, appended or given to me from any third party source.

 

3. My contact is NOT a role address or distribution list - E.g. an email address that may be received by more than one individual: sales@, support@, users@, list@, etc.

 

4. My contact is NOT an email address captured without prior consent of the contact. Including but not limited to: user group addresses, transactional addresses or auto-response addresses.
